Describes the theatre thought of the 20th century avant-garde movements. Describes E. Piscator´s idea of theatre with political purpose. Describes B.Brecht and his idea of Epic-Dialectical Theatre. Describes the idea of Absurd Theatre. Describes the idea of alternative theater of the period we live in.. Is able to comparatively analyze Brecht´s exhibitionistic Epic-dialectical theater with Aristotelian Theatre style. Describes the sources that the Idea of absurd Theatre fed (benefits from). Analyzes political, social, cultural, scientific and philosophical.conditions that pave the way for the birth of the 20th century theatrical idea.

The aim is to convey students the theatre applications in all periods of the World Theatre from its birth to the present day, staging formats and the theories developed as a result of these experiences, and create an awareness with all this information. |

The examination of the pioneering movements, (Futurism, Surrealism, Expressionism) Political Theatre (Piscator and Political Theatre, B. Brecht and Epic Dialectic Theatre), Absurd Theatre, Contemporary Theatre (Jerzy Grotowsky and Poor Theatre, Peter Brook and Direct Theatre) and the Contemporary Alternative Theatre in the 20th century. |
