Aim(s) of Course |

The aim of this course is to teach students production, consumption, art and culture of the prehistoric and historical periods, and help them gain a general point of view to the historical events and concepts. |

Course Contents |
: |
Cultural steps that the humanity went through are examined starting from Primates to Homo Ludens. These steps are handled taking especially the production-consumption relationship into consideration. History of Civilization course is studied as three basic parts: production and cultural structure in the achaic period, feudality, industrial revolution, and information age. The information related to these periods are also connected with Turkish society. |
