To investigate the main problems of philosophy of knowledge; their historical development and their state at present. |

Course Contents |
: |
This lecture includes the description and analysis of phenomenon which is called "knowledge". Accordingly, the claims of rationalist and empiricist theories of knowledge will be examined, especially by considering the answer which was given by Kant in his criticism, to these theories. What is aimed here is to conceive the fact of knowledge both problematically and systematically. After establishing the meaning of such concepts as "Reality", "Truth", "Criterium", "A priori", A posteriori", "İmmanent and Transendent Reality", conceptual clarity will be reached. |
