Learning Outcomes of the Course : Comprehends what knowledge produced in terms of sociological concepts means in social reality
Knows the similarity and differences between sociological knowledge and the information of other social sciences
is objective in the evaluation of social events
Gains the ability of mutual recognition in relation to events.

Aim(s) of Course : To give the students ideas for discussions on important issues of sociology and the social sphere.

Course Contents : Relationship between sociology science and society person; Socialization and Political Socialization, Society and Institutions, Migration, urbanization and urbanization, Media, Crime, deviation, social structure and culture etc. issues will be discussed.
