Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Comprehends the teaching system and organization of school in systematic approach. Observes school administration, regular activities at school and facilities of school. Realizes the activities in the class by observing. Observes one day of a teacher and a student at school. Observes how the teacher s/he coordinates the lesson while teaching. Observes how the teacher categorizes the lesson, applies teaching methods and techniques and uses what kind of activities in lesson. Observes what the teacher does for management of a lesson and control of classroom Observes how the teacher ends the lesson and evaluates the students, studies. Examines the organizational structure of school, how the school director works and relations of school with the concerned society. Prepares a portfolio indicating school experience studies.

The main purpose of this course is to provide the students the opportunity that they are well–informed about educational field and to ease their adaptation to teaching profession. |

The main activities suggested in this course include: school organization and management, school-day work, group activities, a student´s daily school life, daily life of a teacher in the school, school-family collaboration, observation of the main and side branches, schools and issues , materials and written sources and the various aspects of the teaching profession. |
