Aim(s) of Course : This course aims to provide a general framework to understand and explain how the modern world politics work to students.

Course Contents : In an attempt to introduce major events and actors shaping the contemporary world politics, this course offers a combination of history and theory. Within the framework of main international developments and theoretical debates during the Cold War and its aftermath, the course focuses on general features of globalism, the concept of security, international organisations, human rights, diplomacy and conflict resolution, international terrorism and international migration.
