Learning Outcomes of the Course : Analyses data supplied from reseach,observation and laboratory works.
Organises the data analysis and shows them in tables and graphics.
Comprehends sampling causes, techniques and adequacies.
Explains hypotheses, normal distribution and t distribution.
Uses correlation coefficient and predictive regreation equation.
Uses statistical analysis methods for geological data.

Aim(s) of Course : To teach the basic statistical concepts,the analysis,the presentation and the interpretation of geological data by using statistical methods.

Course Contents : Sampling methods, data collections and organization, analysis of data and graphical presentations, frequency table creation, probability, variables, relation between variables.

Language of Instruction : Turkish

Work Place : Classroom.
