Learning Outcomes of the Course : Comprehend and uses the basic information, concepts and existing theories in the area of supply chain management and logistics, such as purchasing, production, inventory management, storehouse and transportation management.
Form the supply chains and relationships collaterally with the mission and goals of the business.
Evaluate the supply chain management and applications.
Gain information about warehousing, distribution center and shipping management.
Gain information about informatics and communication technologies required in supply chain management.
Describe existing and probable problems and anayse them.

Aim(s) of Course : Supply chain is a network which includes the stages of material purchasing, converting them to semi final or final products, and the processes up to the customers such as supply, production, distribution and logistics.

Course Contents : In this course, the elements of supply chain and the processes related to supply chain management will be explained and examined.
