Learning Outcomes of the Course : 1- Knows the definition, history and development phases of the field of graphic design
2- Explains the overall design.
3 - Explains advertising and promotion methods and techniques to develop solutions to problems.
4 - Explains the concepts of the product, service, or corporate identity.
5- Recognizes Turkish graphic designers and their graphic works.

Aim(s) of Course : To teach the basic principles of promotion and advertising activities; to help students develop creative ideas and give them the ability to transform these ideas to a feasible proposal for a solution.

Course Contents : In this practice-based course, students gain a perception of graphic design. With the practice-based projects, students gain the method of the transformation of the object as the construction of the meaning in graphic design products.

13 Products of the term project. Written and Visual Resources Projects writing, visual image, composition, typography, are evaluated.
14 Evaluation of the term project´s products. Preparation for the presentation Evaluations are carried out on applicability, mode of production, materials, typography. Information about the presentation of the project is given.
15 Project presentation. Results of the projects are evaluated.
16/17 Final Exam Projects are evaluated.
