To help students know and apply the purpose and content of music education in pre-school. |

Course Contents |

Importance of music in early childhood education, relation between music and education, music and musical skills development in children between the ages of 0-8, building a repertoire and utilizing music in reaching the curriculum goals in early childhood education, presentation and analysis of children’s songs, criteria in choosing children’s songs, song teaching techniques in early childhood education, creating an environment and acquiring materials which facilitate music teaching in early childhood education, different approaches to early childhood music education in the world. |
