Realizes the problems and their solutions about the social and economic characteristics of the population in Turkey Evaluates the settlement process development properties in Turkey using the map. Makes judgments about the problems and solutions resulted from settlement in Turkey. Describes the development and classification of agricultural areas and the general characteristics of agriculture in Turkey. Evaluates the current situation and problems in the production and marketing of herbal products by using a map. Makes statements about the status and problems in the production of animal husbandry which changes over time in Turkey. Clarifies Turkey´s mining potential, current situation and the problems encountered by using a map. Course Contents : The contents of this course include the characteristics of the population, migration, population censuses, settlement, and issues of urbanization, urban classification, agriculture, livestock, forestry, mining and energy resources, industry, transport, trade and tourism.
