Knows about the vision of social studies teaching curriculum and the educational philosophies which affect the program. Recognizes the nature of the sub-aims in social studies curriculum. Prepares educational activities related to those aims and applies them. Realizes his/her area information, professional skills and self efficiency and evaluates himself/herself. Proposes some suggestions for developing professional efficiency of himself and his peers. Performs activities related to social studies education on the computer.

Course Contents |
: |
The contents of this course include use of computer and the Internet in social studies education, development of skills of reading graphic and table, use of visual materials and documents, discussion of republic and Kemalism, studies of oral history, benefiting from stated days and weeks, use of current events and their contributions, planning of environment analysis, museum education, asking and its techniques, contemporary evaluation applications.
