Learning Outcomes of the Course : Prepares geometrical shapes such as line, circle, polygon.
Designs views of the parts according to the rules of technical drawing
Expresses the drawn views with the help of dimensioning commands
Prepares the picture from three-dimensional view of parts (perspective) to two dimensional view or from two dimensional view to three-dimensional view.

Aim(s) of Course : This course aims at teaching the rules of classical drawing, giving the basic commands with the help of AutoCAD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting program), creating the concept of technical view and perspective of machine parts in mind and their applications on computer.

Course Contents : Basic Concepts of technical drawing. Simple Geometrical Drawings (Right, Circle, Polygon, etc.). Parts of Their Three Views. Dimensioning of the Drawings. Three-Dimensional View of Parts (Perspective Views). Preparing Solid Modeling. Subjects Computer Applications in AutoCAD Commands.

Language of Instruction : Turkish

Work Place : The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Technical Drawing Room, The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Computer Laboratory.
