Student recognize Turkish Folk Beliefs. They make an anology between Ancient Turkish Beliefs and Islam. They separate the Ancient Turkish Beliefs from the living folk beliefs in İslam culture. They learn local beliefs living in different parts of Turkish society.

Aim of this course is to analyse Turkish Folk Beliefs and Culture examine Folk beliefs in Turkish Society. Aim of this course is also to compare Ancient Turkish Beliefs and Contemporary Folk Beliefs and to reveal traces of Ancient Turkish Beliefs in Islam. |
