1. Understands the change in the world of architecture from prehistoric times to the ancient Roman . 2. Gains sensitivity to the basic information and meaning of the architectural heritage of the ancient ages, 3.Analyzes the semantic link established between the historical eras´ art and culture. 4. Clarifies the relationships among society, culture, geography and architectural design, 5. Gains interest in the constantly changing design principles of the ancient ages, establishes the relationship between the phenomenon of time and constructing a building. 6. Studies the changes in the architecture of different regions and examines the reasons. 7. Builds new methods and designs out of the critical interpretations of the ancient styles.

In accordance with the teachings of the history of architecture, the focus is the design theories of the world´s architecture. From Prehistoric times to ancient architectures, the process up to the architectural heritage are introduced. Thus, both historical evaluations on contemporary architecture and design is held and the students are lead to have a strong historical historical background. |
