Undergraduates learn place of children’s literature within the concept of literature generally. Understand why is needed children’s literature Learn characteristics of children’s publications. Learn the child’s developmental stages. Learn that the child should be able to choose books according to their age. Learn about the contribution of the tale for Pre-school and elementary school 1., 2. and 3. Class students. Know what should be considered when they are telling tales to child Know that how to tell a legend and epos to a child, and what would be the gains Understand that importance of poetry and fabl in children’s education. Know that properties of children’s poetry and how to memorizing a poem to a child.

Course Contents |
: |
This course will be provided with the definition and characteristics of literature. In addition, the definition of children´s literature in detail in this course, the planning of activities related to children´s literature and children´s books examining topics will be discussed. |
