Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Comprehends the concept of survey; measurement in interior design. Uses the traditional, electronic, optical tools and equipment in measuring and applies the measurement techniques. Applies the measurements taken in converting into plan-section-view scale drawings. Demonstrates drawing and presentation techniques in survey studies of various scales (Plan-section-view). Prepares projects by doing measurements in current structures. Completes his/her survey project by taking measurements in historical buildings.

Course Contents |

Surveying: Definition and objectives of the work of different scales; Survey and Scale Techniques: Photo and sketch preparation, horizontal distance measurement, Taking notes on paper transfer of the taken measurements, Survey drawing technique; Survey application: determination of the issue or place with the help of photos, Horizontal measurement, evaluations of the stages of transferring onto paper, the preparation of cross-sectional and front sketch, Height measurement techniques, preparing the monument certificate of registration. |
