Learning Outcomes of the Course : Student identifies a thesis topic to be studied in the field of English Language Teaching
Examines books, articles and other materials regarding selected thesis subject.
Investigates thesis subject by using scientific research methods.
Writes the thesis as a scientific research report.

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to help students to investigate a topic selected in the field of English Language Teaching, to collect and analyse data, to describe and interpret results in the light of previous research results and her/his own ideas, to write thesis as a scientific research report.

Course Contents : Identification of a thesis topic in the field of English Language Teaching, review of literature, scientific research methods, data collection tools, analysis of results, description and interpretation of results, writing up process of thesis as a scientific research method.
