At the end of the Course of "Blood Banking and Blood Transfusion Reactions", students will recognize the blood group antigens, cross-matching, blood transfusion reactions, they will be able to apply the blood banking tests, and make evaluations about the laboratory results. |

Course Contents |

Blood group antigens of red blood cells, compatibility tests, the blood selection for the patients who have alloantibodies or totoantibodies against red blood cells;transfusion reactions related to blood group antigens, red blood cell transfusion, preparation and storing, transfusion endications, the selection of erythrocyte product, special situations, adverse events at transfusion, transmitted diseases via transfusion. |
