Learning Outcomes of the Course : Acquires knowledge about the history of Turkish foreign policy
Evaluates Turkish foreign policy and international relations with scientific methods, identifies and analyzes issues and complex events, builds arguments and develops research-based recommendations.
Acquires knowledge and develops opinion about Turkish Foreign Policy on contemporary issues from its historical, social and cultural aspects.
Develops the ability to comment on Turkey´s political structure in the world conjuncture and performs the skills of written and oral explanation of the problems and solutions related to the subject clearly.
Synthesizes information from areas of communication and Turkish foreign policy.
Understands and explains the connections between the history of communication and the foreign policy.

Aim(s) of Course : Informing students about the history of Turkish foreign policy. Gaining knowledge and skills to students about the international system, national and international processes, developments and issues from the perspective of history and future with scientific methods.

Course Contents : To investigate Turkish foreign policy in the process of the establishment of the Republic of Turkey to the present.
