Conflict resolution, is a concept that emerged as a result for democratic quest for social peace. The importance of communication is indispensable for resolving many conflicts in the social sphere. |

The historical development of the concept of conflict resolution, communication and miscommunication, communication ethics, peace journalism, media and conflict, cross-cultural communication, conflict, borders that divide and unite; gender, ethnicity, nationalism, race, religion, age discrimination; access to communications networks and so on will be discussed. |
