Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Identifies a thesis topic to be studied in educational sciences (psychological counseling and guidance or curriculum and instruction) Examines books, articles and other materials regarding selected thesis subject. Investigates the thesis subject by using scientific research methods. Uses data collecting tools appropriate for thesis subject. Collects data from sample appropriate for thesis subject. Analyses the data collected. Describes the results derived from the analysis. Interprets the results in the framework of previous research results and her/his own ideas. Writes a thesis as scientific research report.

The aim of this course is to help students to investigate a topic selected in educational sciences (Psychological Counseling and Guidance or Curriculum and Instruction), to collect and analyse data, to describe and interpret results in the light of previous research results and her/his own ideas and to write thesis as a scientific research report. |

This course covers identification of thesis topic in educational sciences, review of related books, articles and materials, scientific research methods, data collection tools, analysis of results, description and interpretation of results, writing up process of thesis as a scientific research report. |
