Learning Outcomes of the Course : Identifies a thesis topic to be studied in the field of Islamic Sciences
Knows the methods and techniques used in the field
Identifies, classifies and assesses the major sources related to the field
Knows the ways and methods of reaching main sources and using them
Reaches the true religious knowledge by using scientific methods and techniques; evaluates and uses that knowledge
Conveys the acquired academic and philosophical knowledge to the field of theology
Classifies and analysis the accumulation of knowledge and historical experience acquired in the history of Islamic sciences
Identifies the main religious problems of today and finds solutions adequate to the needs of modern society
Compiles a report of the resarches, studies and results

Aim(s) of Course : To help students to conduct a research on a topic selected in the field of Islamic Sciences via collecting and analysing data, describing and interpreting results in the light of previous research results and their own ideas, writing thesis as a scientific research report

Course Contents : Identification of thesis topic in the field of Islamic Sciences, literature review, articles and materials, scientific research methods, data collection tools, analysis of results, description and interpretation of results, writing up process of thesis as a scientific research method

Language of Instruction : Turkish
