Learning main components of computer systems, operationg systems, Office package programs, computer systems security concepts. |

Course Contents |

Main components of computer systems; processor; input-output units; storage and other peripherals; operating systems: Working effectively at operating systems, customization of system and management, Introduction of Helpful Softwares: Archieving programs, sound/vision player programs, screen recording programs etc. Word processing programs: Text and page edition, working with tables, pictures and graphics, building up forms, letters and labels. Customization of menus and tool bars. Macros and advanced applications. Electronic spreadsheet programs: building up templates with datas like electronic tables, numbers, words and dates, forming graphics, making mathematical, logical or textual operations, macros, Standard and user-defined functions. Data presentation programs: Building up presentations and edition. Adding objects like sound, picture, music, film etc. Animation and special effects. Publication design programs: Designs bulletins like, brochures, postcards; technical diagram and drawing programs. Security at the computer and the internet; Computer and Ethic |
