Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to develop the concept of full life-cycle, learn what is going on within the scope of textile sustainability, gain knowledge about the work done in this area.

Course Contents : What is sustainability, Sustainability in the world. How life cycle affect our lives. What is the scope of sustainability in the textile industry. What is sustainable textile raw materials. Waste generation during production and use. Waste recycling (fiber--yarn-fabric). Waste water and waste heat recovery in textile plants. Plastic waste recycling. What are the documents within the scope of textile sustainability. Textile enterprises working in sustainable perspective and recommendations for the future.
