Course Contents |

In this course, modernization theory and the basic features of the theory will be discussed. ´Transition from traditional society to the stages of this process, the transition to modern society, as well as criticism of the theory of modernization will be discussed. Popular culture in our daily lives will be analyzed within aspects of ideology and the consumer society. |
