Estimate community´s understanding of the Koran.
Help create the infrastructure related to the Qur´an.

Aim(s) of Course : selects various topics from early Quranic exegetical texts and contemporary exegetes´ approaching ways to the same topics in their exegesis will be discussed. Major works will be dealed with are: Taberî, Beğâvî, Kurtubî, Zemahşerî, Râzî and İbn Kesîr.

Course Contents : Students will analyse the Qur´an through these exegetical texts.
