Learning Outcomes of the Course : Understands the importance of physical appearance of the character in the play with theatrical make-up .
Thanks to the theatrical make up, the actor passes/expresses the character to the audience in a more effective way
The actor gains awareness of his own facial anatomy.
Gains the ability to form a physical appearance to the character by analyzing the theme of the work, the period and the physical characteristics of the character he will play.

Aim(s) of Course : Because there is a need for an actor to have an appearance of the character in the play and reflect this on his face, there should be theatrical makeup on the face, and mimics are made explicit when the character is being acted out, the details in the character are revealed. Thanks to the scene make up, the character is perceived with not only what has been told but also with appearance.And the anatomy of face is analyzed.

Course Contents : The course of make-up which includes the works of beard, moustache, wig and the make-up of character, generally aims to teach students general knowledge of make-up.
