Acquire the theoretical knowledge related to child health nursing, Learn concepts that are necessary for child growth and development, Tell the difference between adults and children, Comprehend the position and contribution of child health nursing in health problems of country, Recognize the symptoms of childhood illnesses and make an early diagnosis, Communicate to support family dynamics and child and family integrity, Make decisions to determine child and family related physical, emotional, social and intellectual problems and guide to appropriate intervention, Recognize the early symptoms of child abuse and neglect Know the current responsibilities in child abuse and neglect, Know the rights of children, protect and teach them, Make a care plan for the problems of child health, Evaluate the applied nursing initiatives plan with holistic approach.

The aim of the Pediatric Nursing course is to complete the pediatric nursing role and function with the fundamental knowledge & principles and train the students who have the capability of pratising these skills in accordance with necessities of country & philosophy of school of nursing during all life periods and every level of the health care system for healthy/sick child & their families.

Adolescents from birth up (0-18 times) deviation from normal growth and development characteristics and health status of children, holistic approach to nursing care includes examining on the system. |
