The aim of this course is to teach the relationship between dose and effect of chemical substances causing intoxication. |

Course Contents |

Definition and history of forensic toxicology, postmortem forensic toxicology, human behavioral toxicology, forensic drug testing, pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics, methodologies (sample preparation and methods of analysis), alcohols, central nervous system depressants, opioids, cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines/sympathomimetic amines, hallucinogens, therapeutic drugs, carbon monoxide/cyanide, inhalants, metals and pesticides. |
