Learning Outcomes of the Course : Understand the importance of structures, organizations and power during the functioning of economy
Understand the various kinds of confidentiality (cognitive, cultural, political, structural)
Explain the development of markets from a historical perspective
Understand how public policies are emerged and why there are variations in public policies across countries
Explain how organization and corporation structures evolve

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of the course is to teach the function of economy by using a different perspective. The influence of structures, organizations, culture, elite interests,states and power will be used to explain the function of economy. During the courses the criticism of economic theory from a sociological perspective, the development of markets from a historical perspective, the relation between states, public policy and economic organization, the development and the role of organizations and corporations will be thaught.
