Knows about the traditional Turkish theatre "Ortaoyunu" in Folk Literature.
Knows about the storyteller "Meddah" in Folk Literature.
Knows about juggling-illusionism in Folk Literature.
Is able to give information on theatrical games in villages in Folk Literature.
Is able to give information about public theater.

Aim(s) of Course : To introduce and teach the basic concepts and types in the anonyous section of Turkish Folk Literature.

Course Contents : The birth and development prose types of Turkish folk literature, Introduction to myths, analyzing sample texts in myths, Introduction to epics, analyzing sample texts in epic, introduction to the book of Dede Korkut, analyzing sample texts in Dede Korkut, introduction to legends, analyzing sample texts in legenda, introduction to fairy tales, analyzing sample texts in tales.
