Knows the developments in the tourism industry around the world Knows about the share of the world countries and regions in tourism and the growth rate of the tourism sector. Understands the importance and place of tourism in the world and in Turkey. Gains the knowledge and skills to interpret the statistical data of touristic developments. Determines the place of Turkey in the international tourism market. Identifies the major economic groups in the world based on the movements of international tourism Offers suggestions for solutions to the problems of tourism in Turkey Understands the importance of Turkey´s touristic resources.
