To provide an understanding of physiological responses of field crops to abiotic factors present in their environment, including stress conditions |

Course Contents |

An introduction to the basic physiological processes (e.g., photosynthesis, respiration, nutrient utilization, partitioning and senescence) and their responses to the environment (including a-biotic stresses) are studied in relation to the growth, development and production of major field crops |
