Learning Outcomes of the Course : Description the environmental law subject, scope, purpose and attributes.
Important legal regulations for environmental engineering, and description of purpose and the evaluation of the mechanisms
Understanding the responsibilities of complying with environmental legislation and regulatory purposes.
EU environmental legislation, adaptation process and aims to detect the structural change in Turkish environmental legislation.

Aim(s) of Course : Evaluation of legal environmental regulations in accordance with the adjusting period of European Union,that environmental engineers will absolutely need.

Course Contents : Environmental Law: An Introduction, Fundamental principles, Emergence and Development of Environmental Law, Environmental Law, Subject, Aim, Objectives and Characteristics of the Turkish Environmental Legislation Overview of the Constitution, Laws, Regulations and International Conventions, Environmental Law and Legislation, European Union Environmental Legislation Overview Vertical and Horizontal Legislation, Environmental Legislation Compliance Status EU and Turkey, the EU Integrated Environmental Approximation Strategy
