Aim(s) of Course : To make a comparative study of written texts on early and late history, artistic styles and artists’ production processes and of the basic concepts of these texts

Course Contents : This course includes the history of art criticism from the 1960’s to the present time, and is based on the comparative study of art criticism. Students are assigned to study and discuss selected art readings including criticism on art works after modern period. Students are presented with relevant tools and experiences in crafting their own art criticism.
