To help medical students learn the diagnoses and treatment of common orthopaedic diseases,and general principles of orthopaedic treatment and deformity correction . |

Course Contents |
: |
Patient with high-energy trauma: traffic accidents, falling from height, open wounds, upper and lower extremity fractures Open wounds of wrist and ankle: crush and sharp (glass) injuries, multiinjuries of tendon, nerve and vessels. Knee pain: meniscus and ligament injuries, gonarthrosis, fracsures around knee Lomber pain : molber pain with mechanical nonmechanical origin, spondylolysis lysthesis, vertebral fractures Hip pain: coxarthrosis, aseptic necrosis of the femur head, fractures and dislocations around hip area Shoulder pain: dislocations of the shoulder, fractures arpund shoulder area, rotatory envelope injuries, adhesive capsulitis Wrist pain: tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures of ganglion and wrist. Joint swelling: inflammatory and mechanical etiologies Walking disorders: congenital hip dislocation, Perthes disease, flat foot, childhood walking disorders Bone-soft tissue swelling: benign and metastatic tumors of muscle-skeletal system Congenital deformities: torticollis, hand anomalies, pes ecinovarus |
