Learning Outcomes of the Course : Explains the structure and properties of the class.
Explains the factors that influence the behavior of the teacher´s classroom management.
Analyzes classroom management approaches.
Accepts the responsibility for his/her own behavior for the effective classroom management.
Explains the need for the regulation on classroom teaching-learning process.
Determines the appropriate classroom rules for the students´ level of development.
Explains the basic principles and the importance of effective learning-teaching process management.
Recognizes the inside and outside classroom factors that affect the using of time.
Evaluates the problems faced in classroom management with a critical perspective.
Uses the knowledge and abilities that are associated with the area of expertise/disciplines effectively for creating a positive classroom atmosphere.
Applies the internalized knowledge and problem solving abilities to the case studies.
Attempts to multifaceted evaluation the effectiveness of management strategies and to develop himself/herself.

Aim(s) of Course : To inform teacher candidates about classroom management and discipline and to present the knowledge and abilities which are achieved in other professional lessons in order to use fffective management of the classroom

Course Contents : Classroom management approaches and basic concepts, classroom management variables, physical properties of classroom, teaching environment in the classroom, time management, behavior management, teacher-student communication, teacher-parent communication
