Learning Outcomes of the Course : Defines the concepts of measurement and evaluation
Understands and becomes aware of the importance of the role of measurement and evaluation in education
Describes the measurement tools and techniques used in education.
Describes the required characteristics of measurement tools.
Prepares, implements and evaluates the test items.
Calculates the scores obtained from the test and item statistics.
Implements evaluation and grading tecniques.

Aim(s) of Course : This course seeks to provide students with skills and knowledge in measurement and assessment. It provides application skills in designing and developing assessment instruments including performance, analyzing tests, and using the results to guide instructional decision-making in grades K-12 and to improve student learning

Course Contents : Evaluate the importance of assessment and evaluation in education Compare the traditional and contemporary assessment methods Explain the features found in measurement tools. Acquire the knowledge of doing basic statistics on the results of measurement. Acquire ability of developing various assessment tools in education
