Learning Outcomes of the Course : Definitions, types and classification of field crops products according to the Turkish standards
Standardisation of physical and chemical properties in field crops products
Has information about the Inspection methods and chemical analyses for determing the quality standards in field crops products
Knows sampling, packaging, marking, labelling for determing the quality standards in field crops products
Learns storage, storage type, period and type of storage units, and bins or buildings for determing the quality standards in field crops products

Aim(s) of Course : The purpose of this course to provide the students with the special knowledge and skills on standardisation and conservation of field crops products

Course Contents : In field crops standardization, description of crop, quality characters, affecting factors on quality, rules, principles, measurements and methods of crop analyses, packaging, labeling, store, factors effecting the purification and types and duration of conservation, TSE in the field crop, Turkish Standards, HACCP, necessary making for improving of standardization
