Aim(s) of Course : To disclose socio-economic and cultural reasons of the problems of the population living in rural areas and dealing with agriculture, especially problems of those encountered in production and marketing stages; to emphasize the importance of agricultural organizations giving examples both from the world and Turkey; to find solutions to the problems and establish background through organization and rural development-oriented approach.

Course Contents : Characteristics of agricultural sector; organizational problems in Turkish agriculture; agricultural organization models in the world and in Turkey; public organizations in Turkey; producer organizations in Turkey/Civil organizations in Turkey; comparing agricultural organizations in Turkey and EU; reveal organizations in terms of development; cooperatives; samples of successful agricultural organizations in Turkey
