Aim(s) of Course : Understanding the effects of micro nutrients on crop production, food quality, environmental pollution and human and animal health.

Course Contents : Availability of micro nutrient elements (Fe, Zn, Mn, B, Mo, Cu) in soils and the factors effecting them; adsorption processes; plant uptake and translocation and distribution of micro nutrients and their morphologic and physiologic function in plants; symptoms of deficiency and toxicity; element interactions and the plant adaptation mechanisms to micronutrient element deficiencies
