Know the concept of ethics. Know patient rights Knows and applies ethical Decision-Making Process. Know research and research ethics . Explain the relationship between the history of the world and the effective social movements in the development of nursing history. Explain the development of nursing in the world and in our country and identify its current position. Define the basic concepts of ethics and nursing ethics, ethical rules and value systems. Demonstrate legal and ethical behavior in accordance with fundamental human rights and patient rights in nursing role and functions. Protect individual dignity, integrity and completeness in the provision of nursing care. Define the laws that determine the duties, powers and responsibilities of the nurse within the scope of health care services. Explain philosophy of nursing ,nursing values and the nursing ethical codes. Integrate personal values, philosophy of nursing and nursing values and reflect it in his/her professional behavior. Describe the stages of ethical decision-making process. Gain the ability to rmake decisions using ethical principles in resolving ethical dilemmas and transform it into behavior. Express ethical problems and dilemmas in modern medical interventions and care.

Providing a historical approach to contemporary issues of medical ethics, the course tries to emphasize specific points about medical ethics. It also aims to teach to approach contemporary health issues from historical perspectives and to help students gain scientific point of view on issues related to medical history.
