To teach importance of stored products and foods materials Students gains knowledge about general characteristics of stored pests. student knows pest insects acari, and rodents species and to give information about systematics, biology and ecology and control tactics of species. student is gained to take different documents related the lesson contents, and acquired solution skillful, analyzing the pest problems

Aim(s) of Course |

To introduce pest insects, mites and rodents in warehouse, houses, silos, and teach biology, ecology and damage of each pest species and its control tactics ,and also to introduce general perspective of pest management of stored pest. |

Course Contents |

To teach characteristic of ware houses and silos, properties of stored foods or materials, and general reason of stored material losses.
To give information about systematics, biology ecology, pest status and control tactics of pest insects, acaries and rodents feeding upon stored products |
