Aim(s) of Course : This course aims to give information about machinery and apparatus used in finishing processes and the physical and chemical finishing processes and practices according to fiber groups, errors that might occur at the end of finishing process and solutions.

Course Contents : General Information About Handling and Finishing Processes. Chemicals and Machines Used in Finishing Process. Types of Chemical and Mechanical Finihing Processes. Water Proofing, Easycare, Stain and Water Repellent, Calendering, Shrinking, Finishing Processes for Cotton Materials
