The aim of this course is to examine the events that take place in plant metabolism, cell structure and function, respiration and the specific metabolic processes which take place in organelles such as mitochondria and chloroplasts where photosynthesis takes place, protein, carbohydrate, and fat metabolisms and convections. |

Course Contents |
: |
The contents of this course include introduction to plant cell structure and metabolism, tissue and organs, genetics and heredity, transport of molecules in and out of cells, energy flow, respiration, photosynthesis, carbohydrates, protein synthesis, enzymes, lipid synthesis, the physiology of seed plants, plant nutrients and soil, organization of growth and development, plant hormones, plant growth and external factors. |
