Learns basic concepts related to biotechnology. Discusses the usage areas of biotechnology in plants. Obtains information about tissue culture and molecular techniques. Learns how to transfer the outcomes of the investigations and theoretical knowledge into practice. Interprets research findings and follow current development in plant biotechnology.

The subjects such as basic concepts in plant biotechnology, tissue culture, totipotency, haploid plant production, seconder metabolite production, disease free plant production and germplasm conservation are included in the contents of this course. |
