To learn about the research methods used in epidemiology, which investigates the causes and distribution of diseases ,to determine the proper method and when to use it, to be aware of the minuses and pluses, to decide on the criteria to summarize the data, to learn about the estimation methods and significance test practices for criteria such as prevalence, incidence, estimated risk, relative risk, estimated relative risk, absolute risk |

Epidemiological research methods: disease burden and measures,prevalance, disease risk and its measures: relative risk, odds ratio, hypothesis testing on risk measures, confounding and interaction, standardization, survival data and summary measures, hypothesis testing on survival curves, determination of sample sizes, and modelling of binary and quantitative data |
