Learning Outcomes of the Course |

Has the knowledge of histological properties and the layers of the eye. Explains the histological structure and functions of retina Defines the histological properties of external and middle ear. Tells the histological features of inner ear structure, bony and membranous labyrinth, organ of corti and sense receptors. Defines the histological features of skin and skin-related receptors and features of tongue, taste buds and olfactory mucosa in the scope of smell and taste histology Analyzes the sample tissues which belong to sensory organs under light microscobe.

The aim of this course is learning the basic informations about histology of the sensory organs at postgraduate level. |

Sensory reseptors, Free and encapsulated nerve endings, Eye, Fibrous coat, Uveal coat, Retina, Accesory organs, External, Middle and Inner Ear. |
