Defines the basic concepts of education (education, instruction, learning, etc.). Apprehends the differentations between the basic concepts of education. Apprehends the teaching profession, the conditions and the properties of professionalisation. Describes features that teachers should have. Analyzes the psychological, social, economic, philosophical and legal foundations of education. Apprehends the roles and the responsibilities of the teacher in education and instruction. Apprehend the new trends in Turkish education system. Evaluates the problems of Turkish education system.
